竹林寺＆牧野植物園を満喫！同行二人の金剛杖と再出発したフランス人歩き遍路のルルル滞在記
フランスから四国遍路の旅でお越しいただいた、とっても仲睦まじく朗らかなご夫婦ゲストさんのお話です！🇫🇷✨
ルルルには2泊滞在してくださり、高知の観光とお遍路をマイペースに楽しんでいらっしゃいました。
滞在中は高知市街を一望できる五台山へ足を延ばし、名刹である第31番札所「竹林寺」を参拝したあと、隣接する「高知県立牧野植物園」へ！豊かな緑と歴史あるお寺の雰囲気に深く感動されたご様子でした。
宿での夜は、2日連続で夕方のラウンジ生演奏タイムや名物のカレー夕食交流会に参加！
朝食時も他の旅行者さんや海外からのお遍路ゲストと積極的に言葉を交わし、おすすめのルートや宿の情報交換をするなど、ラウンジには終始温かい笑顔が溢れていました。
そんなお二人のチェックアウトの朝、ちょっと微笑ましいハプニングが！
朝食を済ませ、荷物を背負ったお二人はスタッフや他の宿泊客に見送られながら「ありがとう！」と元気に手を振って歩き出していかれました。
……ところが、それからわずか5分後。
宿のドアが勢いよく開き、息を切らしたご主人が苦笑いしながら戻ってきたのです！
「杖を忘れてしまった！！！」
そう、ロビーの隅に立てかけてあったのは、お遍路さんにとって命の次に大切な「金剛杖」。
四国遍路において金剛杖は、弘法大師（お大師様）の化身とされ、常に二人で歩んでいるという意味の「同行二人（どうぎょうににん）」を象徴する一番大切なお守りです。
次の札所へ遠く歩き進んでしまう前に気がついて本当に良かった！
「お大師様を置いていくところだったよ〜！」とみんなで大笑いしながら、無事に杖を手にして笑顔で再出発されました。
大切な相棒と共に一歩一歩進むお遍路の旅。
これから続く土佐路の道のりも、お二人で支え合いながら素晴らしい功徳と思い出をたくさん重ねていってくださいね。
またいつでも高知のルルルへ「ただいま！」と帰ってきてくださる日を楽しみに待っています！スタッフ一同、道中の安全を心よりお祈りしています！いってらっしゃい！👋✨

A delightful story of an affectionate pilgrim couple from France who stayed with us at LuLuLu for 2 nights! 🇫🇷✨
During their stay, they explored Mt. Godai, visiting the historic Temple #31 Chikurin-ji and strolling through the lush Makino Botanical Garden.
Both evenings, they joined our live music performances and curry dinners, actively connecting and sharing pilgrimage route advice with fellow travelers over breakfast.
On their departure morning, a funny little incident occurred!
After waving goodbye to everyone and setting off down the street, they rushed back through the front door just 5 minutes later with broad smiles and breathless laughter:
"We forgot our walking stick!"
In the Shikoku 88-temple pilgrimage, the walking stick (Kongozue) represents Kobo Daishi himself—embodying the spirit of "Dogyo Ninin" (two traveling together). Leaving the stick behind is practically like leaving your most sacred companion behind!
We were all so relieved they remembered it before walking miles away. With big smiles and their stick safely in hand, they happily set off once more!
