急遽一人で自転車お遍路へ！オレゴン州から来た将来の橋梁エンジニアと過ごした2日間🚴‍♂️🇺🇸✨

アメリカ・オレゴン州から、とっても明るくタフな男性ゲストがルルルへ泊まりに来てくれました！🇺🇸✨

大学の長期休みのタイミングで、お母さんのお知り合いから「四国のお遍路」について教えてもらい、一気に興味が湧いて四国へやってきたそう！

実はもともとご友人と韓国旅行へ行く予定だったのですが、ご友人が急遽軍隊に戻らなければいけなくなり、思い切って一人で「人生初の自転車旅」に挑戦することに！この行動力、本当にすごいです！

ルルルには2泊滞在してくれて、夜は他のゲストやスタッフと一緒に「ひろめ市場」へ！高知の美味しい食とお酒を囲みながら、みんなでたくさんお話ししました🍻

会話のなかで「日本語には漢字・ひらがな・カタカナの3つの文字があるんだよ」と教えると、「えっ！？そんなに種類があるの！？」と目を丸くして不思議がっていたのがとても可愛らしかったです（笑）。「自分は筆記体も書けないのに〜！」なんて笑いながら、この四国旅から毎日日記を書き始めたという素敵なエピソードも教えてくれました。

大学では土木工学（シビルエンジニアリング）を専攻していて、将来は「橋を作ったり、地図に残るような大きな仕事をしたい！」と熱く語ってくれました。彼の明るさとタフさなら、きっと将来素晴らしいエンジニアになるはず！

今日で自転車お遍路は5日目。トラブルもなく順調に進んでいるとのこと！

A wonderful guest from Oregon, USA, stayed with us at LuLuLu during his bicycle Ohenro pilgrimage! 🇺🇸✨

He decided to visit Shikoku after hearing about the Ohenro pilgrimage from his mother's friend. Originally, he was planning a trip to Korea with a friend, but since his friend had to return to the military unexpectedly, he courageously set off on his very first solo long-distance bicycle trip!

He stayed with us for 2 nights and joined other guests and staff for drinks at Hirome Market! 🍻

When we told him that Japanese has three writing systems (Kanji, Hiragana, and Katakana), he was super surprised! He also shared that he started writing a daily diary specifically for this journey.

He is studying civil engineering in college, dreaming of building bridges and working on monumental infrastructure projects in the future. With his bright energy and toughness, we know he will achieve great things!

Today is the 5th day of his cycle trip, and everything is going great!
