石鎚山登山からひろめ市場＆仁淀川へ！4ヶ国語を操るデンマーク人元ヘルパー家族の高知1週間滞在記

2年前にルルルで丸1年間を共に過ごした、デンマーク出身の愛すべき青年・アントン！

なんと今回、彼のお父さん（ステファノ）と弟さん（ジョシュア）が初めての日本旅行で高知を訪れ、ルルルに1週間も滞在してくれました！🇩🇰🇮🇹✨[cite: 27]

元々は四国のお遍路さんとして高知へやってきたアントン。四国と高知の人の温かさ、そしてルルルの居心地をすっかり気に入ってくれ、「もっとここにいたい！」とワーキングホリデービザを取得して1年間ルルルのスタッフとして働いてくれた大切なファミリーです。

今回は、彼が心から愛した高知とルルルをご家族に見せるための特別な旅でした。[cite: 27]

ルルルへチェックインする前には、愛媛の西日本最高峰「石鎚山」に登ってきたそうで、到着時はさすがにみんなヘトヘト（笑）。[cite: 27]

でも高知の美味しい食とお酒パワーで見事に復活！夜はみんなで「ひろめ市場」へ繰り出して美味しい料理と高知の地酒で乾杯し、昼間はスタッフやヘルパーも一緒に仁淀川河口の海へ出かけてデイキャンプと釣りに挑戦！[cite: 22, 27]

「デンマークの海は冷たくて泳げないから！」と一人海に飛び込んでジャブジャブ泳ぐお父さんと、日本では珍しくないけれどデンマークでは滅多に見られないカニを見つけて目を輝かせて追いかける弟くんの姿が本当に可愛らしくて印象的でした🦀🌊[cite: 22]

そして滞在中にみんなが驚いたのが、アントンの目まぐるしい「言語スイッチ」！

実はお父さんはイタリア出身で、お母さんがデンマーク人。現在ご家族はデンマークで暮らしているため、

・お父さんと1対1で喋る時は「イタリア語」

・弟のジョシュアと話す時は「デンマーク語」

・家族みんなで会話する時は「イタリア語」

・僕と話す時は「英語」

・そして妻のカヤノと話す時は流暢な「日本語」！

と、相手によって瞬時に5つのパターンを使い分ける超人的なマルチリンガルぶり！「頭の中、こんがらがらないの！？」とみんなで大笑いでした！

今回は残念ながらお母さんと妹さんは来られませんでしたが、次回はぜひご家族全員揃って遊びに来てほしいですね。……というか、今度は僕たちがデンマークへ会いに行きたいくらいです！

1週間の滞在を通じて、国境も時間も越えて家族のように笑い合えた時間は、宿をやっていて本当に幸せだと感じる宝物のような瞬間でした。

アントン、ステファノ、ジョシュア、高知へ来てくれて本当にありがとう！またいつでもお遍路を歩きに、そして高知の我が家へ「ただいま！」と帰ってきてね！スタッフ一同、いつでも首を長くして待っています！いってらっしゃい！👋✨

A wonderful story of Anton, our beloved former staff member from Denmark who spent a whole year with us 2 years ago!

This time, he brought his father Stefano and younger brother Joshua on their very first trip to Japan, spending an unforgettable week at LuLuLu! 🇩🇰🇮🇹✨[cite: 27]

Anton originally came to Shikoku as an Ohenro pilgrim, fell deeply in love with Kochi and LuLuLu, and stayed for a year on a Working Holiday visa.

This journey was all about showing his family the Kochi he loves so dearly.[cite: 27]

Before checking in, they conquered Mt. Ishizuchi—the highest peak in western Japan—so they were quite exhausted upon arrival![cite: 27] But good Kochi food and sake quickly brought their energy back. We enjoyed local sake at Hirome Market and spent a sunny day at the mouth of the Niyodo River for a day camp and fishing trip! 🌊🎣[cite: 22, 27]

His father jumped into the ocean for a refreshing swim since Danish waters are too cold, while his brother had the time of his life chasing beach crabs! 🦀🏊‍♂️[cite: 22]

What amazed everyone was Anton's rapid multilingual switching:

Italian with his Italian-born dad, Danish with his brother, Italian for family chats, English with me, and fluent Japanese with my wife Kayano! It was mind-blowing to watch him navigate all these languages effortlessly!

Although his mother and sister couldn't make the trip this time, we hope the whole family can come next time—or better yet, maybe we will visit Denmark to see them!

Hosting them for a week and laughing together like true family was an absolute treasure.
