亡き妻との思い出を胸に初来日！祖谷渓谷とDMVに感動したフランス人親子の癒やし旅🇫🇷✨
フランスの北西にある小さな街からやってきた、とても温かい親子ゲストのお話です。🇫🇷✨
実は昨年、大好きだった奥様（お母様）を亡くされ、ご家族全員が深い悲しみの中にあったそう。そんな気分を少しでも前向きに変えようと、今回初めての日本旅行を決意され、高知のルルルに3泊滞在してくださいました。
お互いに英語が得意ではなかったこともあり、最初は「3階のコインランドリーはあちらですよ！」と伝えるのにも四苦労する場面も（笑）。
けれど、言葉の壁なんて関係ありませんでした。スマートフォンに大切に残された奥様の美しいお写真や、お二人の若い頃の思い出のお写真を見せてもらいながら、言葉を超えたたくさんの心温まるお話をさせていただきました。
高知滞在中はレンタカーを借りて、大自然が広がる中津渓谷や祖谷渓谷へドライブ！
絶壁に立つ小便小僧のユニークな姿や、かずら橋の迫力ある景色を全力で楽しまれたようです。
また、フランスでバスの修理のお仕事をされているお父さんに、線路と道路の両方を走る阿波海南〜室戸エリアの「DMV（デュアル・モード・ビークル）」を紹介したところ、職人魂に火がついたようで、とても興味深そうに目を輝かせてYouTubeの動画に見入っていました！
「これまで息子とこんなに長く一緒に過ごす時間がなかったんだ」とお話ししてくれたお父さん。
悲しい別れをきっかけに動き出した旅ではありましたが、こうして四国の大自然に包まれながら親子で向き合い、ゆっくりと濃密な時間を重ねられたことは、お二人にとって何より大切な宝物になったのではないかと思います。
ルルルで過ごした3日間が、傷ついた心を少しでも癒やす温かい時間になっていたら嬉しいです。お二人のこれからの人生が、たくさんの光と優しさで満たされますように。またいつでも高知の我が家へ帰ってきてくださいね。メルシー！👋✨

A touching story of a father and son from a small town in northwestern France who stayed at LuLuLu for 3 nights. 🇫🇷✨
Having lost his beloved wife last year, the family decided to travel to Japan for the first time to heal their broken hearts and find a new beginning.
Even though we faced a language barrier—struggling a bit at first just to explain where the laundry machine was!—we connected deeply. He showed us precious photos of his late wife and fond memories from their youth with so much love in his eyes.
During their stay, they rented a car to visit Nakatsu Gorge and Iya Valley, thoroughly enjoying the vine bridges and the famous Peeing Boy statue.
Since the father works as a bus mechanic, he was fascinated when we showed him videos of the DMV (Dual Mode Vehicle) running in the Muroto area!
He shared that he hadn't had much time to spend with his son before. While the trip came from a sad loss, the opportunity for them to bond, travel, and share quality time together across Shikoku was truly meaningful.
We sincerely hope their 3 days at LuLuLu brought comfort and warmth to their hearts. Wishing them peace, happiness, and safe travels ahead. Come back to LuLuLu anytime! 👋✨
