いの町紙の博物館トリエンナーレ大賞受賞！本場イタリアの美術教授がルルルで過ごした驚きの5日間」
イタリアから1人でやってきて、ルルルに5泊滞在してくれた素敵な女性ゲストさんのお話です！🇮🇹✨
チェックイン当初は英語での会話があまり得意ではないご様子で、お互いに身振り手振りを交えながらのやり取り。「快適に過ごせているかな？」と少し心配していたのですが、毎日とても楽しそうに、そしてどこか忙しそうにあちこちへ出かけていかれる姿を見て、「高知の街を満喫してくれているみたいで良かった！」と一安心していました。
そして迎えた、彼女の滞在最終日の朝。
いつものように届いた高知新聞の朝刊に目を通していたところ……ニュース紙面を見た僕とスタッフは、思わず二度見＆目が点になりました！！📰💥
なんと、彼女のお顔写真と作品が新聞の紙面にドカーンと大きく掲載されているではありませんか！！
実は彼女、本国イタリアの美術アカデミーで教授を務める本物の超一流版画アーティスト（セレーナさん）！
いの町紙の博物館で開催されている「高知国際版画トリエンナーレ展」に出品された彼女の素晴らしい作品が見事、最高賞である『大賞』を受賞し、その授賞式やトークイベントに参加するために高知へ来られていたそうなんです！！
「えええーーっ！？うちの宿にそんな凄いアーティストが泊まってたの！？」と、朝のラウンジは大盛り上がり！笑
さっそく掲載されたばかりの新聞を広げて二人で記念写真をパシャリ！「本当におめでとう！！」と伝えると、とってもチャーミングで控えめな笑顔を浮かべて喜んでくれました。
世界的なすごい偉業を達成された方なのに、威張ることもなく、ルルルでいつも気さくにゆったり過ごしてくださっていたギャップにただただ感動です。
国境を越え、こんな素晴らしい才能を持った方と自然体で出会えるのもゲストハウスならではの醍醐味ですね。大賞受賞、本当におめでとうございます！高知での5日間の滞在が彼女にとって良い思い出になっていたら嬉しいです。また展示や旅で高知へお越しの際は、いつでもルルルへ帰ってきてくださいね！グラツィエ！👋✨

A wonderful story about a female guest from Italy who stayed with us at LuLuLu for 5 nights! 🇮🇹✨
Since she didn't speak much English, we communicated with simple words and gestures. Although we were slightly worried at first, she seemed very happy and busy every day, so we were glad she was enjoying her time in Kochi!
Then came her check-out morning.
As we were reading the local Kochi Newspaper, we were completely STUNNED by what we saw in the news section!! 📰💥
There was a large photo of her right on the page!
It turns out she is a printmaking professor at an art academy in Italy (Serena Panini), and her artwork won the GRAND PRIX (First Prize) at the famous International Print Triennial Exhibition held in Ino Town, Kochi!! She had traveled all the way from Italy to attend the award ceremony!
We were so surprised and shouted, "We had a Grand Prix winning artist staying with us?!"
We immediately grabbed the newspaper and took a celebratory photo together! When we congratulated her, she gave us the sweetest, humblest smile.
It was such an honor to host such an incredible international artist at LuLuLu. Congratulations on winning the Grand Prix! We hope her 5 days in Kochi were comfortable and memorable. Come back to LuLuLu anytime! 👋✨
